SWING - Up Up and Away

Yeah I have a new swing...last time I used to go to Zheng Ping kor kor's house and play their swing, now I can play at home liao...

Auntie Fanny passed to my mama a hand me down swing. It's still very nice and new. Am very happy cos I have so many new toys lately, 1st a bicycle now a swing!

LEARNING MANDARIN

Learning Mandarin is so difficult especially when no one at home speaks Mandarin. My mama consider herself a "Nasi Lemak" cos she is so call Malay educated. She can speak Mandarin, read a few words but can't write. Most of the time we converse in English at home. I even told mama "I don't want to learn Chinese".

But my mama is very hard working, she knows that Mandarin aka Chinese is very important and she do not want me to struggle in school in future, she will is upgrading herself now. She bought herself a Chinese dictionary with chinese and english meaning in it, with pin yin and how to write correctly according to the strokes. She try to type chinese words using computer with the help of her colleagues.

Being worried about my exposure to chinese, she went to popular to source for some flash cards to teach me chinese...haha it's will be self teaching for herself too. (p/s: she also use it to teach Mary jie jie). Hope it's not blind leading the blind.

She is very happy that she found quite a good set for my level, mama use this cards as memory game for me. It plays two purposes, I can learn to recognise the chinese character of the words and also how to pronounce it by looking at the picture. Mama is quite happy that at least I learn a few more chinese words. Before that I can only name body parts in Chinese and nothing more.

WEEKEND BENTO

Over this long weekend mama only cooked once for me, that was on Sunday. Sunday evening we were invited for a BBQ party in church. Jie jie was not at home whole afternoon cos she stayed back in church for bible study. Mama has to prepare a quick meal for me to bring it to church and eat.

Mama took some pumpkin, lotus root, leek, carrot, tomato and chicken meat out from the fridge. Well it transform to a Pumpkin Rice and Stir fried chicken meat with lotus root, leek, carrot and tomato. Mama packed it into the hamburger bento box to bring it to church.

Enjoyed the pumpkin rice cos it's so sweet and goes well with the dish that she prepared!

MY WEEKEND DINNER

Auntie Sandy commented that for a long time mama didn't cook for me...haha mama felt a bit bad about it, cos lately no mood to cook...mama will just tell Mary jie jie what to cook. Same goes for my Saturday's dinner...jie jie is the one who cook but mama try to put it nicely for me.

Claypot (aka rice cooker) Chicken Rice

On Sunday, mama felt that it's time she do something liao....so she asked Mary jie jie to do prepare the ingredients and she cooked. She made a nice bento for me for my Sunday dinner...when I saw it I say...wow NICE!!!!

MY ADVANCE BIRTHDAY PRESENT - BICYCLE

Yeah...I've been asking mama to buy a bicycle for me for quite sometime...my "clever" mama came out with this idea of getting sponsor for my birthday pressie....She got all my Ee Ees, Ah Gu, Ah Ma to be the sponsor for my bicycle. Thank you very much for my advance birthday pressie...I like it very much. In fact I keep posing with my bicycle and get mama to take photoshots of me...haha...

CROCODILE FARM - 18/10/08

Mama took me to the Crocodile Farm at Upper Serangoon Road. QiQi jie jie followed us along. My play kaki, Zheng Ping kor kor, Zheng Kai kor kor and An Tong jie jie went on their own earlier. We all meet at the Crocodile Farm. According to the internet they suppose to have feeding at 11am so all of us waited but later found out that this feeding time are for group visits only....chey...we wasted our time hanging around waiting to see them feed the crocodiles...

Wow the crocodiles are big and huge...so many of them. Their teeth so sharp...I'm so scared...hehe...oh I saw a turtle too...

Mama bought me a momento, a crocodile book mark so that I can show my papa that I went to the Crocodile Farm.

Sweet & Kind Words or Things I Do

Mama has been teaching me to be kind and must say sweet things to others. We are also reading a book we borrowed from the Library titled "Let's Be Kind". Every night mama will read it to be and tell me that I need to be kind.

Kind to:

Friends - must share and help my friends

Family - help to pick up my own toys, don't make too much noise in the house and also help to take care of them when they are sick

Neighbours - greet them when I see them, help them if I can

Animal - I should not beat animal, must be nice to animals.

Well, I think I did practice what I heard and learnt. Here are few examples of the kind and sweet things I did.

1) When someone is driving and making a turn, whether is papa, 3 ee or even taxi driver...

I'll say "BE CAREFUL!"

2) When I see someone fall down....

I'll say "ARE YOU OK?"

3) Mama having stomachache ache....

I'll say "MAMA, YOU WANT TO PUT OIL...I RUB FOR YOU!"

4) When my helper aka my Mary jie jie is busy cleaning the house...

I'll say "I HELP YOU"

5) I'm also a good helper, whenever my family members need me to help to do something like carry shopping bags, take handphone, off TV, on the fan or take water....

I'll say "OK."

I want to continue to be kind cos it's good being KIND

Flour Playdough

Mama taught our church kor kors and jie jies how to make playdough with flour on Sunday. So with the balance flour that she brought back from church, she made the dough for me to play...wow look at the amount of moulds and cutter mama invested....had fun making shapes like butterfly, heart, star, bear, rhino,rabbits and etc.

BOTANIC GARDEN (11th October 2008)

On friday evening, auntie Sandra (my play kaki's mummy) invited us to join them for an excursion to Botanic Garden. But 1st let me introduce my play kaki...they stay same block as me, we always meetin the evening where I'll play with Zheng Ping kor kor and Zheng Kai kor kor while waiting for An Tong jie jie to come back from school. An Tong jie jie is 7 yrs old, Zheng Ping kor kor is 6 years old and Zheng Kai kor kor is 4 years old (1 year older than me). I love to hold An Tong jie jie's hand

We planned to set off early on Saturday morning...Wow I was so excited, on Friday night I quickly sleep and and woke up very early on Saturday morning. The minute I opened my eyes, I told my mama..." I want to go garden with Zheng Ping kor kor...Mama, are you ready???

We reached Botanic Garden around 9am...wow so many people and so many dogs...Thank God the weather it's not too hot probably because it's all shaded. I played bubbles with kor kors and jie jie. A lot of kids wanted to join us and play...hehe cos they see we have lots of fun!

Auntie Sandra gave us a lunch treat at the restaurant there...they were so surpised that I ate so much...2 pieces of pizza, half piece of fish and around5-6 spoons of tiramisu. When I reached home I asked for milk before I sleep....haha I'm in my eating mood!

3 ee and Daryl kor kor in town!!!!

My 3 ee and Daryl kor kor came to visit me on the 30th September 2008 till 4th October 2008.

Me had lot's of fun when they are in town cos I get to go kai kai day and night....haha till I had fever (probably heat stroke under the hot sun and drink not enough water).

I went shopping with them at IMM, Parkway Parade, Toa Payoh, Junction 8 and also went karaoke at Chinatown. I love karaoke, it's FUN!!!! I sang about 5 songs...not bad ah??? Songs that I sang - Happy Birthday to You, Mary had a Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Farmer in the Dell and Jingle Bells...I also co-sing Sean Kingston's My Love....

Back home I played sparkles with Daryl kor kor too!

When 3 ee and Daryl kor kor left, I kept asking mama where are there??? So 3ee and Daryl kor kor please come more often!!!
