Chingay is a very grand event in Singapore where there are float parades, lion dance, dragon dance and fire crackers. Usually the actual event is held in town during Chinese New Year. However after that the Organiser will organise a few events in the heartland of Singapore.
11th Feb Chingay will be held at AMK GRC, at Hougang area. After my Berries class, mama took all of us to auntie Fanny's house cos they parade will passby her house. Aunty Fanny cooked dinner for us. After dinner we quickly went down to get a good place.
There's so many lion dance and dragon dance. The floats are so beautiful. For the first time I really hear fire crackers and I saw the Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong.
Had a good time! Thank you mama for bring us and thank Aunty Fanny for cooking dinner for us!
