Weekend Updates

I was sick for almost 1 whole week, therefore mama did not bring me to any special place for kai kai on Saturday morning. But on Saturday evening, papa drove us to Esplanade to see fireworks...WOW very nice...I was too stunned to see such beautiful fireworks so near right above my head...went home very quiet and speechless...after a while I keep saying fireworks "pom pom" very nice...Mama was also to engross with the fireworks till she forgot to video it down even though she has her camera on her hand...by the time papa reminded her the fireworks ended liao...haha...I love the experience watching close-up fireworks...Thanks papa and mama.

On Sunday evening, I went for a walk at the canal behind my house. Mama says go and get some fresh air...the after rain breeze was good. I love walking at the canal cos I'm free to run around and of course see many dogs and birds.

I saw a pair of cute Shih Tsu...this auntie always cycle her dogs around in the evening...very good dogs, can sit on the chair and enjoy the fan and beautiful view....both dogs won't bark at people...I can touch and even hug the dog...GOOD DOG!

After that, we popped by over at the "Rabbit Garden" to see Ms. Koh. Ms. Koh was playing Chinese Chess with one of the kor kor....hehe I kaypoh went and play also...Ms. Koh says I can start learning by recognising the words...haha mama has to learn together with me!

ME HAVING FEVER

As mentioned in my previous blog, I had fever the next day after I visited HortPark...cos HortPark is very HOT....

My highest record hits around 40 degrees, I felt really lousy with joints aching and bad dry cough...mama felt very heart pain when she heard me cough (those coarse coarse sound)....I woke up a few time middle of the night and mama has to wake up to sponge me...sorry mama, I have to trouble you...I felt so lousy till I tell mama, please bring me to the doctor...

Today I'm on MC...will stay at home and rest. Hope that I will recover fast so that mama don't have to take care of me middle of the night...妈妈辛苦你了..。谢谢妈妈！

ANOTHER 爱心 DINNER

Guess what mama cook for me??? WAN TON NOODLE...I like it, even though I'm not feeling too feel but I finish the whole bowl of noodle plus char siew plus wanton. Mine noodle is not as dark as mama's cos she din put a lot of sauce for me (scared too salty). Can see the difference below!

12/07/2008 SUNNY DAY


Last Saturday, a very Sunny day, mama took me to HortPark (recommended by Auntie Grace) a very nice but hot place to go...We reached there are 10.15 but the sun is really vy hot that day...till I fell sick with fever the next day. So aunties and uncles if you plan to bring your kids to go there, please either go early in the morning or evening, or else please bring a cap for your kids.


When we reach there mama took me for a short walk at the Telok Blangah Hill's tree top walk. Wow nice it's like the jungle just below me...

After that we continue to explore the park...there's a nice playground but the sun it's too hot for me to have outdoor games....mama used her umbrella to shelther me cos I keep saying very tired...we spend about an hour there seeing beautiful gardens and flowers...mama keep taking photos of the flowers...after that we went to Tiong Bahru Plaza for lunch then home sweet home.

Weekend 爱心 Dinner

Every weekend mama will try to prepare 爱心 lunch or dinner for me...Sometimes she also try to experiment some new style of cooking on me...I'm the guinea pig...At times her effort will goes into the dustbin cos I can be quite fussy at times. But she will not give up in preparing something for me.

On Saturday, mama tried to get me involved in preparing my own dinner. Me made mee hoon kueh dough for me and ask me to use the butterfly mould to cut out the shape. So that day I'll be having Butterfly Mee Hoon Kueh. However, I was rather full cos I had milk around 3.30 pm so end up I didn't finish the food. Btw, the dough is rather thick too, so it's quite chewy...me to lazy to chew the food for so long...

On Sunday, mama steam rice and steam whole drumstick for me. The rest of them having nasi lemak cooked by mama which is too spicy for me so mama has to special menu for me.

Malay Wedding

Mama has been teaching me about Malay culture, finally I can attend a Malay wedding. The wedding was held in Sengkang at one of the void deck. They served quite a wide spread of Malay traditional dishes but all very spicy. Mama fed me with pasta 1st before going there cos she knows I won't be able to eat those food. Mama gave me some Nasi Minyak to try for fun.

The "Bersanding" ceremony suppose to start at 2pm where the bride and groom will walk in to this place accompany with kompang and other performance like kuda kepang...Above is the "Bersanding" place...where is the newly wed couple??? hehe me didn't get to see....WHY??? Cos I need to do big business. There no place for me to do, mama ask me to do it on the diaper but I insist on going to the toilet. So ended up mama has to bring me back to Compass Point (which is the nearest public toilet) to do my business. Fussy me find it very yucky to do it on my diaper. Mama showed me around at Compass Point then we head towards the interchange to take a bus home.

Too bad I miss the kompang cos I keep asking mama where is the kompang...well will have to wait for another wedding to come by.

My Saturday Activities

On 5th July, mama brought me to East Coast Park to play sands....I like going to the beach, probably because I've have conquered my fear on waves and sand. Last time I used to hate playing sand cos I find it very dirty and yucky. Now I'm ok with it liao. After that I went and explore all those fun rides at ECP...hehe just sit only, didn't put money one...Had great fun last Saturday
